Amanda Chavis serves as the Director of On-Campus Events for Main Campus Program Board (MCPB). She is a senior Management Information Systems major within the Fox School of Business, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Amanda has been a part of MCPB since her freshman year as an active member, then serving as the organizations On-Campus Director for 2016, followed by serving as the Marketing Director for 2017. Amanda truly loves and is dedicated to MCPB, ready to serve the student body another year and continue to take steps towards her career.

Prior to Temple, Amanda was born in North Carolina and raised in Olney, Maryland with her older brother. When Amanda is not studying or partaking in her Fox Student Professional Organization, she is also involved outside of MCPB. She belongs to the Association of Information Systems, is a second-year Resident Assistant serving at 1300 Residence Hall, and is a part of the TedxTempleU team as the Social Media Branding and Marketing chair. Amanda’s number one love language is quality time, so in her free time, she really enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, simply having a good time and engaging in good conversation. Amanda also really enjoys listening to all kinds of music, always willing to take good music recommendations. As a member of the executive board, Amanda Plans to help bring the best events to Temple University’s Campus as well as build relationships with the students and her team.
